31DC2014 Day 9: Rainbow Nails

So this manicure ended up being one of my absolute favorites from the entire challenge! This isn't my original idea though, I saw it on Instagram a while ago but I don't remember from who. Regardless, I was thinking of what to do for this day of the challenge and I remembered this manicure; I thought it would be perfect!

Polishes used (all from Color Club):

Halo-Graphic (pink holo)

Cosmic Fate (orange holo)

Kismet (yellowy-greenish holo)

Angel Kiss (light green holo)

Over The Moon (blue holo)

Eternal Beauty (purple holo)

This is the base I used for this manicure that I posted a while ago. That post explains how I did everything, it's super simple. I liked it so much from the challenge that I decided to do it again but with a twist! For the challenge though, I just wanted the rainbow to really shine through so I left the gradient as is. My favorite part of this manicure is how it looks in direct sunlight:

I mean just look how cool that looks! Photographing holographic polishes doesn't do them justice at all. You really have to see them in person. Still looks really cool though!
